Robert Pattinson and the lasting love fans have for Cedric Diggory

While he went on to play Edward Cullen and now Batman, Robert Pattinson was first our Cedric Diggory and means a lot to fans of the Harry Potter series.

Robert Pattinson has had quite the career which should delight fans of the Harry Potter series because, here’s the thing, we love Cedric Diggory. While Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the only time we really get to see Pattinson, he made his mark and we all turned into fans of the actor.

Or at least that’s what happened with me, the point is, Robert Pattinson is an important figure In the Harry Potter series even though Cedric Diggory isn’t really a character that would be someone’s favorite. Part of his appeal was definitely Pattinson because, in the books, he was just the nice boy that helped Harry figure out one of the clues of the Triwizard Tournament and who was in love with Cho Chang.

But in the movies, Pattinson brought a charm to Cedric that stayed with us all and kept us engaged and so there is a beauty to his performance that stuck with us all clearly. Because after all these years, we look back at Robert Pattinson and we think about Cedric Diggory and where we first saw the actor.

So, as we continue on in our love and appreciation for Robert Pattinson, we will always come back to where we first met our favorite Hufflepuff. We can’t wait to see Robert Pattinson in Tenet and The Batman and wherever else his career is going to take him in the future! We’ll be right there supporting him.
