For whatever reason, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a movie that many fans flock to as their favorite and there’s a good reason for it. It’s very clearly one of the best.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire rules for multiple reasons. So when fans often talk about how it is a favorite of theirs, it makes sense. First, it brought Cedric Diggory to us. Second, we got to see the Quidditch World Cup, and more than that, we got to see Harry’s real fear come to life as he was face to face with Voldemort and his own failure.

The thing about Goblet of Fire is that there are just so many important aspects of the series brought to life in it. It sets up the following two books, it brings on the divide of the wizarding world against Harry and ushers in a new look at the series as a whole.

Plus, look, Goblet of Fire is just a good movie. There are fun moments, it’s a coming of age story, and it overall just fits into what we love so much about the series as a whole. Yes, the book and the movie differ slightly but that doesn’t mean that we can’t like them both.

There’s just something fun about Goblet of Fire until it isn’t as much fun anymore (meaning when Cedric Diggory gets killed by Peter Pettigrew and Voldemort comes back). But watching these kids grow up and go to dances and learn about liking each other? It was an important part of our own growing up and that’s why we love it.

Next. The sadness that exists within Remus Lupin as a character. dark
