AMC will continue offering new episodes of The Walking Dead universe shows early for people who subscribe to its streaming service, AMC Premiere.

Fans willing to shell out five bucks to subscribe to AMC Premiere will get access to The Walking Dead season 10 finale and the premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond on Thursday, October 1 — a full three days before they air on AMC.

Since the launch of AMC Premiere, episodes of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead have been available to subscribers the Friday night before they usually air, but this is the first time that the new episodes will be available on Thursday.

Fans have been anticipating the season 10 finale since the episode was postponed in the spring, and they’re anxious to see the Whisperer War come to a spectacular end.

Fans who have at least basic Cable subscriptions can sign up for AMC Premiere. After a seven-day free trial, Premiere costs $5 a month. For that cost, fans can watch AMC shows ad-free. They also get lots of extras and behind-the-scenes content, as well as access to a full AMC library of shows and early access to The Walking Dead universe series.

Avoiding Spoilers

Fans have had mixed feelings about AMC Premiere since it launched. Some think that it’s a cash grab by AMC, while others who dislike spoilers find it difficult to avoid them, especially when subscribers get early access to the new episodes and flood social media with reactions. But a large number of fans really like being able to see the episodes early and don’t mind paying the small fee to get access to all the additional content that’s available for their favorite AMC shows, including The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and soon The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

And luckily, there is a solution to the spoiler problem: If you do subscribe to AMC Premiere, use the appropriate spoiler hashtags when you’re posting on social media so that you don’t ruin the viewing experience for other fans. If you hashtag your posts, then others who don’t want to see any spoilers can mute those hashtags and avoid having the episodes ruined for them.
