Putting our favorite fictional characters into their Hogwarts house is a tradition for fans of the Harry Potter series and Mugglenet did it with the Umbrella Academy.

Mugglenet does a great job of putting our favorite characters from other properties into their Hogwarts houses and now they’ve done it with The Umbrella Academy.  A show based in a world where a group of children are magically born on October 1, 1989, the Academy features the Hargreeves and their quest to stop the apocalypse.

While Mugglenet put quite a few of the Hargreeves in Hufflepuff and Slytherin (even though I wouldn’t have), one was so perfect that I’d like to talk about it: Ben. Ben Hargreeves is the sibling who died when they were younger but because Klaus has the ability to talk to the dead, that’s how we get to know him.

And Mugglenet put him in Hufflepuff which is…kind of perfect. He’s the kind of character who just wanted to take care of his siblings and definitely was there for Klaus when no one else could be and putting Ben in Hufflepuff just works.

There isn’t really a discussion of whether or not he fits in another house because he doesn’t. It’s just kind of perfect in that way. Ben Hargreeves might be the sibling we know the least about but he’s also one that we know is fiercely loyal and will do whatever he needs to for his siblings and that, at its core, makes him the best kind of Hufflepuff.

And kudos to Mugglenet for always having the best sorting posts for our favorite shows!
