Many of us love creatures but none of us love them as much as Newt Scamander and let’s take a look at the creature loving Hufflepuff from the Fantastic Beasts series.

Newt Scamander loves the magical creatures that exist in the wizarding world. He dedicated his life to finding new creatures and making sure they are taken care of and it is honestly why so many of us love him as a character.

Much like how Hagrid loved his creatures when he was at Hogwarts, Newt is the kind of character who dedicated his time and love to these fantastic beasts and wanted them to be looked out for since many in the world didn’t know how to deal with them.

It’s why he wrote the book on them and why he continued to make sure these creatures weren’t hurt even while the wizarding world was in turmoil. But it is characters like Newt that remind us how we should stick to our own beliefs and make sure we’re true to ourselves.

He could have easily been the kind of character who just pushed the creatures aside when the wizarding world needed him but he didn’t. He still cared for them and who knows what Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is going to take him but we at least know that he’s going to continue to care about the creatures and beasts within his care.

So, may we continue to have the Newt Scamander we know and love and get to see him continue to care about these creatures throughout the rest of his series!
