James Phelps talks cycling, Harry Potter, and his life past the series we know and love
Bringing Fred Weasley to life was no feat but James Phelps did an incredible job and recently, he did an interview talking about the series and his life after Harry Potter.
James Phelps is an incredible actor and person. Not only did he bring Fred Weasley to life in the Harry Potter films but he also continues to love the series and talks about fans and goes to fan events frequently. That, in a lot of ways, makes fans of the series continue to love and support him because he still looks out for us as fans of the Harry Potter series.
Now, Phelps is talking about his love of cycling, the series as a whole, and his life post the wizarding world and it is a great look into James Phelps as a person! Talking to Cyclist, James Phelps talked about his love of the sport as well as how it helped him.
"I’m always after some kind of new challenge, and usually I know I’ll be able to get through it, but I hadn’t given this much thought, and it was one of the first things I’ve done where I wasn’t sure if I’d finish. I did manage though, and I can’t express how much I enjoyed it. The sense of achievement and camaraderie from being on a ride like that is incredible."
It’s a wonderful outlook on not just biking but life as a whole. Challenging ourselves is important and, more often than not, we’re stuck not really pushing ourselves enough and so for Phelps, pushing himself with new challenges is a great lesson for us all.
Maybe we should all take a little lesson from James Phelps and also try and push ourselves with new challenges rather than just making the easy choices in life.
