For Twilight fans there is a renewed interest in visiting  Forks, Washington.

With the release of new book, Midnight Sun, sparking new interesting In Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight world, many Twilight fans are considering a road trip to Forks, Washington. When the real world and the fictional world collide, fans of the Twilight series are ready to explore the “real” locations to create their own Edward and Bella moments.

Many fans often seek out the real-world locations of their favorite stories. While a visit to a theme park might be a glimpse into an imaginary world come to life, the real world locations offer a totally different experience. Although a visit might not exactly recreate a scene or moment in a storyline, the visit is still filled with authenticity.

Forks, Washington is located close to Olympic National Park, which is located on the Olympic Peninsula. Beyond the Twilight connection, there are many places to explore in the area. From majestic trails to breathtaking waterfalls, the natural wonders are more beautiful than any vampire-influenced love story. Even though it might be considered the rainiest location, that rain can also be magical.

The local area tourism board even recommends a 5-day tour. Each day is a new discovery. From the rain forest trails to the beaches to hot springs and animals, you might want more than 5 days to explore all the beauty.

Each year, the area hosts a Forever Twilight in Forks festival. This annual event is held in September and features a variety of fun events (for 2020, the event will be virtual). The festival celebrates the books with fans across the world.

Also, the area holds the largest collection of Twilight memorabilia. From screen-worn costumes to props, there are many hidden treasures. Plus the collection includes the infamous Chuckesmoee. Even though this robotic doll never made it into the movies, it is nevertheless part of Twilight lore.
