Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is something that brought Harry Potter back to our screens so why do so many fans have a problem with the new franchise?

When it comes to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it was a return to the wizarding world. For many of us, we flocked to the series because we missed the world of Harry Potter. But now, looking back at the series, it might not be the best addition.

Not that the story isn’t great or the characters but that it just isn’t the story many fans wanted. There are so many side stories throughout the entire series and to pick a character we barely heard of in passing to focus an entire series on? It was an interesting choice from the start.

But as these movies go on, it is obvious that they’re limited in what they can actually do. We know so much of the world when Harry exists that everything in the past as to filter into the world we were introduced to.

So…it’s interesting because they can’t really take it anywhere else. And with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child existing, it’d probably make more sense to create a world around that rather than going back in time. Because then we end up with mistakes and problems in the series that are easily avoidable.

That being said, the series is still Potter and it is filled with characters we have come to care about and that’s also important so who knows, maybe we still can have hope for it.

Next. The wizarding world and their inability to connect to muggles. dark
