The wizarding world and their inability to connect to muggles
A major flaw in the Harry Potter series is the problem between the wizarding world and the muggles and it’s interesting to take a look at why those two worlds can’t coexist.
The wizarding world is complicated. Not only did they make it hard for muggle children to leave their friends and family behind but they also left the muggles in the dark in a lot of ways and part of the problems the wizarding world faced came because they were trying to tackle Voldemort on their own.
When it comes to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, the muggles are actively fighting against the wizarding world and the wizards and witches operate in secret. And it feels like, throughout time, that still didn’t get any better because Hogwarts is a secret and random muggle children get their Hogwarts letters without knowing what it is or why.
It’s interesting that there hasn’t been any real connection between the muggle world and the wizarding world throughout the series and it doesn’t seem to be any different in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
So, will there ever be a time when the wizards and witches work with muggles to bring a stop to the terrors of the world? Who knows but maybe we can explore that in some other way and see that witches and wizards just up and ignoring the problems of the muggle world while letting the muggles do the same doesn’t seem like a great way of co-existing with one another. Just let the muggles know of the witches and wizards!
