The Umbrella Academy season 2: 5 things we loved about the new episodes

That Cliffhanger
While the Hargreeves inevitably save the world and return to their own timeline (sorry, JFK), things are far from fine. As they arrive back at the Umbrella Academy, they’re greeted by their previously dead father, Reginald (Colm Feore), who doesn’t recognize them and insists they don’t belong at his Sparrow Academy.
A previously dead Ben also steps forward, with six other characters in silhouette, and asks who they are. Obviously, the team has some ‘splaining to do, as it appears that there has been a serious consequence to messing with the timeline. We do know that the Sparrow Academy appears in the comic books, but it’s unclear whether these will be the exact same characters featured in season three.
Additionally, we don’t know what happened to Lila. Following the revelation that she was actually another one of the 43 children born with abilities alongside the Umbrella Academy members, she turned down an invitation to join them and took off on her own using one of the Commission’s suitcases. A third season is yet to be confirmed, but seems inevitable, so we hope we haven’t seen the last of Diego’s lady love.
