18 – Nakomis and Cowboy realize they’re related

This next moment is one of the most controversial in Big Brother history, purely because the circumstances surrounding the reveal (and production’s involvement) contained some questionable ethical choices.

During season 5, houseguests Michael and Nakomis came to the show expecting to be regular players, and unaware that they were part of a surprise twist called “Project DNA”. Unbeknownst to them, they were actually half-siblings, and after chatting over the course of a few weeks, the duo realized that they had the same father.

Although it certainly made BB history, we still think that’s it’s a little morally dubious of production to have put them together without their consent.
