#1 – Dan’s funeral

Although this is hotly debated, our number one spot for the most iconic moment in Big Brother goes to no other than Dan Gheesling himself, who misted his fellow houseguests into saving him after his masterful “funeral” speech.

During a veto competition, Dan earned the punishment of having to spend 24 hours in solitude and spent the alone time thinking up a way to save himself from eviction. After the time was up, he infamously held a funeral for himself, saying that he was done playing the game, and seemingly severed ties with his closet ally Danielle.

Somehow, the charade worked, and Dan was able to pursade his once enemy Jen to use the veto to save him – securing his safety which in turn ended up earning him a spot in the final two. He may not have won the season, but in our book, it’s still the most iconic moment of all time.
