8 – Evel Dick wakes up the house to save Daniele

Possibly the single most controversial houseguest of all time, Dick “Evel Dick” Donato won Big Brother 8 after reaching the final two with his estranged daughter Daniele. However, the journey there wasn’t easy – his difficult temperament meant most of the house hated him, and this wasn’t helped by the fact that he often went out of his way to upset others.

However, this most iconic moment actually came from a form of selflessness – in order to help shift attention away from Daniele and get public opinion to sour towards him instead, Dick went around waking up the house in the most obnoxious way possible. It made for great television, and in his own way, it was oddly sweet – he was doing it to be a good father.
