14 – Dan evicts Shane

Although “most iconic blindside of all time” is a pretty debatable title considering Big Brother‘s long history, if there’s any eviction deserving of the title, it’s Shane’s boot at the hands of Dan Gheesling during Big Brother 14.

BB legend Dan Gheesling convinced fellow houseguest Danielle Murphy to use the veto on him and put her showmance Shane on the block, as long as he promised to evict Ian and save Shane. Of course, Dan went back on his word, and after getting Danielle to keep him safe, Dan cast the sole vote to evict Shane – blindsiding everyone in the house, but most of all Danielle, whose shocked face is almost hilariously tragic.
