Four years ago, many of us flocked to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in print form and whether you like it or not, it is an important part of the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is an interesting point of conversation among fans of the series. Mainly because we’re seeing Harry and his friends outside of Hogwarts but also because it is a bit out of left field.

The magic is alive and well when you can see Cursed Child on stage before you but four years ago, we just got the play in print form and many had issues with some of the plot points. From the Time Turner (which was destroyed in the books) being a focal point to Harry Potter saying that he wished his son wasn’t his son, fans had problems.

Personally, I’m mad that Sirius Black was not someone whose history changed when everything started to happen with the Time Turner. But that’s not important. What is important is the fact that we got to have one more moment to rush out and enjoy getting something Harry Potter related at midnight.

Dressing up and going to get the latest book or go to the movies was an important part of our childhoods and going to get Cursed Child felt like reliving that for one brief moment and it was absolutely worth that trip so no matter what you think about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, at least we had that one beautiful moment of going back to Hogwarts with our friends.

Next. Happy Birthday to the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter. dark
