Do you ever think about Voldemort living on the back of Quirrell’s head?
Voldemort went through a lot to come back to life but it is kind of funny to think about the fact that he just lived on the back of Quirrell’s head for a while and just had to be quiet.
Professor Quirrell is a character who willingly gave up his life to be a servant to the Dark Lord and when you stop and think about his relationship with Voldemort, it’s weird. Just give it a moment. This character just let Voldemort live on the back of his head and said that it was fine.
On top of that, Quirrell came up with this elaborate way of being a bumbling idiot of a professor and it was all a big act. Why? And for who? Certainly not for anyone at Hogwarts. Was it just for the enjoyment of himself and Voldemort? The only two who, until Harry outsmarts him in the end, knew what was going on.
It’s just an interesting relationship to look at. Quirrell, in all his knowledge, just let Voldemort use him. Which is a lot like the other Death Eaters but still, it feels strange that they’d just willingly let this wizard do whatever he wanted.
But, alas, instead, we just get this relationship where Voldemort just lives in Quirrell’s turban for however long he was on the back of his head.
There are many things about the Harry Potter series that are strange when you stop and think about them but Quirrell and Voldemort’s relationship is definitely high up on the list of things that we just don’t talk about nearly enough.
