10 Things I Hate About Pinky by Sandhya Menon
From Sandhya Menon comes10 Things I Hate About Pinky, the third book in the Dimple and Rishi series.
If you’re looking for a social justice warrior, Pinky Kumar is your girl. No cause is too big or too small for her to take-up and if it has the added bonus of making her conservative parents uncomfortable then that’s even better.
Samir Jha has no interest in making his mom uncomfortable. He spent most of his time taking care of her when she was sick, so he’s less warrior and more planner. Samir has lists for his lists and is used to scheduling his whole day.
As opposites, Pinky and Samir are the kind of teens who are half friends, half enemies but Cape Cod is big enough for the both of them. In fact, it’s so big that Pinky comes up with a plan to get her parents off her case.
Samir is Harvard bound and he’s close to his mom, he’s exactly who Pinky’s parents would prefer she date. They’re not at all each other’s speed but if Pinky can get him to agree, she can actually enjoy her summer at her parents’ lake house instead of receiving an earful about her poor choices. It may come with a side of bickering but fake dating Samir could be the best decision Pinky’s ever made.
10 Things I Hate About Pinky is available now in print, audio, and e-book format.
