A Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee

Jayci Lee‘s rom-com, A Sweet Mess, follows Aubrey Choi, a successful, small town California baker who’s just been hit with a bad review. A cake mix-up is at fault for this mishap but it’s threatening her business. That’s something to complain about for sure but the food critic that panned her creation is none other than her one night stand, Landon Kim.

Determined to help fix his mistake, Landon has a plan. Aubrey will spend three weeks in wine country working with him. A food critic and a baker could be a volatile partnership even without having known each other intimately. This could very well blow up in Aubrey’s face but Landon is sincere in wanting to help, and Aubrey wants to save her business.

Maybe she can stuff her attraction in a drawer labeled ‘Do not touch’…if Landon’s friends weren’t the meddling type. Turns out Landon and Aubrey will not only be sharing a kitchen but also a villa. Things are liable to get hot, and Aubrey’s going to have to decide if she’s going to be able to handle the heat.

A screen adaption of A Sweet Mess is being produced by Daniel Dae Kim’s company, 3AD.

A Sweet Mess is available now in print, audio, and e-book format.
