Giuseppe Stromboli, the new hero of the Harry Potter series
When one Twitter user decided to share a joke story about Giuseppe Stromboli, everyone took to referring to the Harry Potter series as his and honestly, let’s do it.
The internet is having great fun making jokes about J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter series. And rightfully so. With everything that Rowling has said on Twitter and in her blog, many fans would rather mock her work and it honestly is hilarious. This time, we have the story of Giuseppe Stromboli.
Saying that Rowling had them put in “changes” to the series, one that truly stuck out was that Harry Potter is now an Italian-American. The full tweet has things like Hermione now being Himmoine and Dementors being latina but Giuseppe Stromboli and the Latina Dementors of Azkaban seems like an interesting choice in kids books.
Not going to lie, the Harry Potter deserves it right now. Not only has J.K. Rowling continued time and time again to just double down on her opinions (and sign a letter about cancel culture as if she isn’t still talking about her transphobia) but it also makes it so that Harry Potter fans have to now basically give up on a series that meant a lot to us.
So yes, making fun of the series and thinking of what Giuseppe Stromboli would be like as a hero is kind of fun. He’d probably get mad about things, talk with his hands, and realize that he’s the greatest wizard that ever lived but also would drink red wine with some pasta (I know this because this is probably what I would do as a wizard and as an Italian-American).
So here is to Giuseppe Stromboli: Take on the Dark Lord with ease.
