What would you see if you looked in the Mirror of Erised today?
Many fans of the Harry Potter series have thought about what they would see if they looked into the Mirror of Erised but how has that changed throughout the years?
The Mirror of Esired is exactly what it sounds like…meaning a mirror that shows you your deepest desires. Get it? Because it is Esired? But growing up, many of us have continued to think about what we would see if we had the chance to look into the mirror.
As we have aged, so have our ideas of what we would see so, in 2020, what would you see if you looked into the Mirror or Esired? To be honest, right now, it would be a world of people getting along and without a virus looming over them.
But it also depends on each person. Someone could see themselves with a lot of money or just hanging out with their friends. They could be like Harry Potter and see loved ones they have lost and so on and so forth.
That’s the beauty of the mirror. It gives you a look at what you want so right now, everyone would probably see some kind of future where we can all just go outside without fear but it is still interesting to think about how those dreams we once held and thought we’d see in the future and how that has now changed to now.
You can always look in the mirror more than once, Harry did in order to get the stone, but still, that initial glance is important and right now, it’d be interesting to see what we’d all see.
