Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 6 preview: Adapting
What else can go wrong on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD? With the timeline already messed up from what it was originally, can our team fix it at all?
You know, it wouldn’t be Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD if they didn’t try to cram in six different storylines into a single episode.
This season actually hasn’t been that bad yet, keeping everything relatively streamlined. We’re just time-hopping every few episodes.
But it sounds like that’s about to change. Here is the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Adapt or Die,” courtesy of ABC:
"“The stakes are higher than ever when, after blowing their cover and damaging the Zephyr in the process, the team must scramble to rescue Mack’s parents, save S.H.I.E.L.D. from a chronicom infestation, and fix the ship … all before the next time-jump. Meanwhile, Daisy and Sousa find themselves at a disadvantage against a power hungry Nathaniel Malick and his goons, and Coulson will have to do the thing he does best in order to save the future.”"
What Coulson does best, eh? Hilarious one-liners? Rally the troops? Look really good in period wear? Or are we talking LMD Coulson, and it’s taking a bullet and pretending to die?
But going back to my previous comments, it looks like this week’s episode will kick everything into high gear. From trying to save Mack’s parents to kicking some Chronicom butt to stopping the Malicks … to Daisy and Sousa kidnapped by Nathaniel Malick … there’s a lot to cover and a lot to process.
And there’s whatever is going on with Simmons! And wherever Fitz is! Those two plot threads need to be answered sooner or later or the frustration from fans will be too much.
What do you expect to see in this week’s Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD? Can they save Mack’s parents and keep his future intact? Can Daisy escape from another Malick? Let us know in the comments!
