Celebrate Pride Month at home by binge-watching this list of 10 shows that prove we’re in a golden age of queer comedies.

Though it may not feel like it this year, with celebrations around the world being canceled and moved online, it is, in fact, Pride Month. This year may be the first in the 51 years of Pride that the LGBTQIA+ community can’t gather together, but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate.

For one, you can binge-watch a new or old favorite show with friends long distance. There is more queer representation on television than ever before, so there is no excuse for watching a show without any LGBTQIA+ people.

Queer comedies, in particular, seem to be having a moment with popular shows like Brooklyn 99 and Glow having full-blown LGBTQIA+ coming out stories and romances. With everything going on in the first half of 2020 alone, an uplifting queer comedy may be just what we need.

However, choosing where to start, with as many great options for LGBTQIA+ comedies as there are, may be overwhelming. To help narrow it down, this list focuses only on current series (with two small exceptions).

That’s why we’ve compiled the 10 shows that prove we’re in a golden age of queer comedies. Read on to see what find out what made the cut.
