David Tennant joins the cool kids and reads a chapter for Harry Potter at Home

The Harry Potter at Home series has been distracting kids while stuck inside and this time, Barty Crouch Jr. himself (David Tennant) took to reading a chapter for Harry Potter fans.

Quidditch never seemed so cool…or at least it didn’t until David Tennant and David Beckham took to reading chapter eleven from the Harry Potter series! The series has been a fun distraction for families and fans despite everything happening in the world and while there have been quite a few characters in, chapter eleven is clearly pulling out the stops with both Tennant and Beckham.

To be honest, it’s a little bittersweet that these are still coming out but at least it’s a fun way of looking at the series without thinking of the current controversies surrounding the series. So much of the world of Harry Potter means a lot to fans and getting to revisit that with new voices (or in this case, returning cast members).

David Tennant getting to come back to read the series after being Barty Crouch Jr. for such a little amount of time is great because so many of us love him as the Doctor on Doctor Who. He’s a wonderful actor and getting to support him and also enjoy his version of the series is a fun journey!

So while we’re navigating a strange world of what to do with Harry Potter, at least we have the joy of listening to David Tennant read the eleventh chapter and get to see what David Beckham has in store for us. That and we at least get to listen to Quidditch so…it’s a win-win.
