One of the best relationships in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the one between Tony Stark and Peter Parker, and watching Tony serve as a mentor and father figure to Tom Holland’s Peter is immensely touching and fun. Of course, it isn’t always fun for Peter, particularly when Tony takes his suit away in Spiderman: Homecoming. It’s a very dad thing to do, but it pays off when Peter learns what it takes to become a true hero.

And when Peter has saved the day yet again, Tony offers him a spot on the Avengers team — something Spider-Man fans have been waiting just about forever for. Sadly, Peter decides to stay a “friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man” a bit longer, but it’s still a great moment between the two, and one that foreshadows Spider-Man’s bigger role in the MCU going forward.
