The future of the Fantastic Beasts series: What’s coming up next?
Last time we left the Fantastic Beasts series, we saw Newt Scamander and his friends divided so what is going to happen with the future of these movies?
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has provided us with more Harry Potter content outside of the original series. Sure, we all have our feelings on the story but still, the series is coming out and so why not take a look at the third movie and what we think is going to happen!
The last we saw of Newt Scamander and his friends, they were all divided because of the messaging of Grindelwald. Without getting too into the complicated nature of that, the next movie is probably going to explore a lot of getting Queenie and Credence back and exploring the knowledge that Credence Barebone is actually Dumbledore’s brother.
Many fans (myself included) don’t think that’s going to be a real thing and that their connection is probably a lie made up by Grindelwald but we don’t know for sure. We’re going to have to wait and see what the movie actually chooses to explore because Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald ended up leaving us with more questions than answers.
Who knows when they’ll be able to start filming again but it will be fun to see where the series takes us and how they explain McGonagall living and working at Hogwarts before she was born or the fact that Dumbledore had a brother that we just never knew about before all of this.
