Premise: The Falcon and Winter Solider is the first official MCU series to debut on Disney+ and is a direct continuation following the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
After becoming the new Captain America, Sam Wilson (Mackie) teams up with Bucky Barnes (Stan) in a worldwide adventure in which they cross paths with both the villainous Baron Zemo (Bruhl) and former SHIELD agent Sharon Carter (VanCamp). Russell will portray John Walker, a militaristic successor to Captain America created by the US government.
