Premise: This will be a filmed performance of the critically-acclaimed musical, starring the original Broadway cast. The play tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton (Miranda) and the influential people he meets throughout his life, with music and lyrics largely based in the hip-hop, R&B, pop, and soul genres.
The majority of the roles were cast with non-white actors, revolutionizing the historical narrative as “America then, told by America now.”
