Olivia Colman and other special guests join in for chapter 7 of Harry Potter at Home
Chapter 7, titled “The Sorting Hat” is a fun chapter for Harry Potter fans and now with the latest installment of Harry Potter at Home, we have Olivia Colman reading it with special guests!
Harry Potter at Home chapter 7 is here and pulled out all the stops! With Academy Award winner Olivia Colman joining the crew of celebrities who are helping to bring Harry Potter to life, the star of The Crown took to reading the chapter that, in a lot of ways, changed it all for fans of the franchise.
We got to learn about the Sorting Hat, learn about the houses we would all come to love, and Olivia Colman didn’t do it alone. In her reading of chapter 7, she brought in some of our favorite celebrities to help bring the world of Hogwarts and the Sorting Hat to life.
Not only is Olivia Colman reading “The Sorting Hat” but she had some incredible guest stars join her: Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon and Queer Eye‘s Jonathan Van Ness! So a beautifully fun cast of people came together to bring to life our favorite series and so much of it is beautiful and wonderful to see.
Would it have been great to see Olivia Colman in the Harry Potter series? Yes, would also take Kate McKinnon and Jonathan Van Ness but maybe sometime in the future, these incredible performers and celebrities will find their way into a live-action Harry Potter property.
For now, we can just embrace their reading of “The Sorting Hat” to keep us entertained.
