Avengers: Endgame Continuity

It was established early on in the series that Shield would have heavy ties to the greater MCU, with Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Lady Sif all making guest appearances at various points. However, one thing that has bothered viewers is that neither season 5 nor 6 acknowledged the massive events of Avengers: Endgame. There was a tease in a single episode late in season 5 that referenced “what was going on in New York” (i.e. the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War), but that’s it.

In this final season that uses time travel, very similarly to what we saw in Endgame, it would be nice to have some overlap as one last nod to the connection between these properites. This can be done in a variety of ways, and there is plenty of time in that five-year span between Infinity War and Endgame to explore.
