Mockingbird Returns

The final season promises the use of time travel in order to save SHIELD and preserve its history. We can’t think of a better time to somehow bring Adrianne Palicki’s Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird, back into the fold.

Though Palicki is currently a main cast member on the Fox comedy The Orville, she has expressed interest in returning to the role at some point. Bobbi, along with husband Lance Hunter, gave up the SHIELD life in order to protect the anonymity of the team about halfway through the third season.

Lance returned for a single episode in season 5 to help Fitz find the rest of the team, so we need some closure for Bobbi as well. (Also, we wouldn’t be mad at all if she wound up on the Disney+ Hawkeye show, since she and Hawkeye share a long matrimonial history in the comic books. Just saying.)
