Somehow we’ve already arrived at the penultimate episode of Killing Eve season 3. How, you might ask, when it feels as though the season has barely started? Sure there should so much more than two episodes’ worth of story to tell, particularly when it comes to Eve, whose perspective has simply gotten messier and more muddled as the season has gone on?

But, here we are. Two episodes to go, and no idea where we’re headed.

Here’s what we know:

• Nico isn’t dead, like we thought he was.
• Villanelle is growing increasingly unhappy working for The Twelve, especially after their posh HBIC revealed that even though she technically got a promotion, she’s still just another killer for hire.
• Eve tracked down Dasha because… honestly I’m not entirely sure why. She seems more interested in finding Villanelle again than she is the fact that her (ex?) husband got stabbed through the neck in front of her, which seems kind of weird.
• Konstantin is about to pack up, grab his daughter Irina and run to Cuba to hide from all the people he’s betrayed. Villanelle is trying to get him to let her tag along.
• Irina ran over her mom’s boyfriend on her way out of town.
• And no one seems super clear on who killed Kenny or why. (Bitter Pill kind of sucks at investigating?)

So, you know. There’s a lot going on.

How you get from all of that to something that resembles a coherent ending for the season is anyone’s guess.

There isn’t an episode trailer for this week (again), but rather a sneak peek scene which features an uncomfortable brunch between Carolyn and Eve.
