4. Season 5, Episode 10: “Late Afternoon in the Garden of Bob and Louise”

Once you’ve watched enough Bob’s Burgers, you know that Bob is a man of few, but weird, pleasures. (Thanksgiving turkey prep, anyone?) A great follow-up to “Glued, Where’s My Bob,” “Late Afternoon in the Garden of Bob and Louise” finds Bob and Louise at odds again, but occupying different roles in the conflict.

In this episode, Bob’s desire to grow vegetables almost ruins the family and the restaurant when he has to let Louise’s archnemesis, Logan, work at the restaurant in order to get a spot at the community garden.

This also brings Logan’s snooty mom into the picture, who sends Linda into a teeth-grating tailspin. The ensuing song with combatting perspectives (Louise and Linda’s versus Bob’s) is one of the funniest, featuring Bob tapping his toes amongst the green beans in a sun hat.

“Late Afternoon in the Garden of Bob and Louise” also features a rare (but always hilarious) descent into madness from Bob as he struggles to holden to his spot at the garden before he ultimately realizes his family’s happiness is more important.
