Probably the only actress on this list that could definitively be described as an “action star,” Mackenzie Davis is a Canadian actress who landed on most people’s radar with her role in AMC’s pre-Silicon Valley Halt and Catch Fire.
Her portrayal of Yorkie in the “San Junipero” episode of Black Mirror solidified her street cred, instantly making her a notable part of LGBTQ pop culture. Recently, her roles have veered more towards action movies, starring as Mariette in 2017’s Blade Runner 2049 and last year’s action-packed Terminator: Dark Fate.
Davis is a talented actress with a varied background and certainly has a very similar stature and look to Ruby Rose.
