Something To Talk About by Meryl Wilsner

In Something To Talk About by Meryl Wilsner, a picture says a thousand words. Jo has been in Hollywood long enough to know this to be true, but it’s still a surprise when a photograph of her and her assistant, Emma, causes a stir great enough to threaten Emma’s promotion and Jo’s latest movie release. All Jo did was make Emma laugh on the red carpet, but to the tabloids it was a clarion call for them to descend on the latest celebrity scandal.

Caught up in the whirlwind of the buzz surrounding them, Jo and Emma try to go on with business as usual. Since they don’t have a romantic relationship there’s nothing to talk about, but everyone else from paparazzi to coworkers believe otherwise and it’s affecting their lives.

Jo  just wants to focus on her project, and Emma just wants to do her job. Of course that means spending a lot of time together which is not a hardship, the pair get along like a house on fire. Emma always knows what Jo needs. She’s someone Jo can open up to and be vulnerable with which is not a position Jo ever expected herself to be in.

As their connection grows, Jo and Emma start to question whether or not it is strictly friendly and professional between the two of them. Maybe the picture captured a spark the two hadn’t noticed before. Maybe there really is something to talk about after all.

Something to Talk About will be available May 26 in print, audio, and e-book format.
