Right now, many of us are turning to Harry Potter to keep us sane and entertained and what is it about the series that makes us feel safe and like we are at home?

While we’re all in a state of imbalance, we try to go back to the things we love most and one of those things is Harry Potter. Thinking about why that is is constantly on our minds because it is a bit strange that whenever something goes wrong in the world, we go back to Harry and his friends.

Maybe it’s because they were constantly struggling in a world without leaders (or at least leaders who cared about the people they were supposed to be serving) but there is a connection that many of us find back to the series nowadays.

Look at America. We basically have Cornelius Fudge in charge. He doesn’t want to take credit for anything happening, is pretending it’s not going on and then when it is right in his face, he finally admits that there is a problem. Literally what happens with Voldemort and the Ministry of Magic.

We turn back to Harry Potter and his friends because they understood the stress and the pain of not being in control and not know what to do is something we can all relate to. So yes, sorry, we keep talking about Harry Potter and what it all means to us all but that’s just how it is right now. Let those who want to talk about the Harry Potter series do it and don’t complain about it, please!
