Celebrities love Harry Potter just like we do and now they’re taking to reading chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to us all in the midst of this quarantine to keep us entertained at home. Each taking on a chapter, some of our favorite stars are bringing the world of Harry James Potter to a new light.
To be honest, I’m most excited about Daniel Radcliffe reading a chapter. When the video happened and showed the list of celebrities who were joining in, seeing Daniel Radcliffe’s face brought a childlike joy to the situation because that is still Harry Potter and he kicked off the entire event by reading the first chapter, The Boy Who Lived.

The Vanishing Glass was graced with the beautiful voice of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child‘s own Noma Dumezweni (the amazing Hermione Granger) and it is a beautiful reminder of just how great and vast this series has branched from this first book.

It’s fun to revisit the series with stars reading along, especially seeing Daniel Radcliffe embrace the world of Harry Potter yet again. Are they going to keep this going with Chamber of Secrets and beyond? Who knows, it probably depends on the current situation of the world.
But, at least we’ll have these stars reading to us for the time being and I hope it means that Daniel Radcliffe can come back and read some more to us!
