Season 3 of Westworld comes to a close this Sunday on HBO with “Crisis Theory”. Here’s how to watch online and not miss a minute.
Thanks to a shortened run of just eight episodes – rather than its usual ten – Westworld season 3 will officially end this Sunday. How, you might ask? Well, that’s a great question. This season has been something of a wild ride – a more straightforward story than seasons past, perhaps, but certainly not without its own complex and occasionally confusing mysteries to solve.
Entitled “Crisis Theory,” the finale installment will run an expanded 75 minutes, and hopefully give us a bit more time to address some of those outstanding plot threads.
Such as: What was Solomon’s plan for Dolores’ revolution? What’s Dolores’ plan for that same revolution? (She surely isn’t helping humanity because she’s kind.) And where, exactly, is the fifth pearl/copy of Dolores that was smuggled out of Westworld at the end of season 2?
And that’s just a few of the things involving Dolores we need to know. What about Charlotte, who appears to be following a very different sort of plan than Dolores Prime? Or William, now determined to cleanse the world of hosts? Or Stubbs and Bernard, who are on some very strange still largely unexplained mission to…stop Dolores? Maybe?
In short: There’s a lot. Is there any way this finale can answer all our questions? Probably not. Which is why it’s a good thing the show’s already been renewed for a fourth season, even if we’ll likely have to wait two years to see it.
At least it looks like we’re going to get one more fantastic Maeve vs. Dolores showdown before the season’s final credits roll.
Here are all the details you need to watch the Westworld season finale tonight.
