The Battle of Hogwarts is still a hard topic for fans to talk about
Every year on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, J.K. Rowling gives a death that she’s sorry for and honestly, it is still just as painful now than it was before.
When you stop and think about the Battle of Hogwarts, you end up thinking about J.K. Rowling apologizing for the deaths of characters. Or at least that’s what I do because that’s just how it is now. Sure, the Battle of Hogwarts is important and something to remember but also I think about all the characters we lost and their importance and just get mad again.
One of the deaths that seems to always be the “I’m sorry he was killed” death is Sirius Black. Why? Because people just like to remind us of the pain and keep it going by then talking about other characters who died and how it is sad. Why this is how we remember the Battle of Hogwarts, I may never know.
But it does show how much we still love this series that even now, we still talk about the Battle of Hogwarts and its significance to the overall story and to Harry’s journey. His fellow students all stood up with him and were ready to defend their school and the wizarding world against Voldemort and were willing to die in order to stop him.
They weren’t afraid of the Dark Lord anymore and, right now, when everything seems so up in the air, looking back on the strength and resilience of the students of Hogwarts is a great message for us all.
