After the students of Hogwarts finish their education, what happens next? Sure, there was an idea of what comes after school but it wasn’t really explored and we have some questions.

Within the context of the Harry Potter series, they tell us what happens after Hogwarts. But it’s not exactly an exact science. Much like real life when you think about it. But also it feels like Hogwarts does an alright job of getting their students ready for world after school but not the best job. At least during Harry Potter’s year.

So how exactly do the students go about getting jobs and what not? I assume it’s much like our world. You can go to specialty schools, get into an organization that has the job you want in the end, but I don’t think there was even an established wizarding college. It might also be a different situation just because it is set in Europe and most of us, as Americans, are used to our own schooling system and not theirs.

Still, it’s strange to think about how Hogwarts is like “okay bye now” to their students without really any plans. They educate, they protect, and then they send them off and that’s about it and it feels like the series needs a bit of backend planning for how their students are going to grow as witches and wizards once they finish with school.

But then, we need that in our own lives too don’t we so maybe we should all start preparing students more.

Next. Professor Quirrell is maybe the worst out of the whole series though. dark

What do you think happens after Hogwarts? Where to do the students go or how do they figure out what career they want? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
