Molly Weasley, the icon that we should focus more energy on
There are so many amazing characters in the Harry Potter series that we focus on but, for whatever reason, we often leave Molly Weasley out of the line-up and that’s not fair at all.
Molly Weasley is the kind of character that started off was Ron’s mother and morphed into a woman who knew what she wanted, knew who she loved, and would fight tooth and nail to protect that. She became a beacon in the series and someone that Harry Potter could count on to always treat him like one of her own.
So why is she not among the characters that fans normally go to as their favorites? To be honest, I feel like we all just have this love of Molly Weasley that we understand and love and just don’t talk about it other than that. There is an appreciation among us all because she is the character who constantly was there for Harry and his friends.
Molly Weasley didn’t care who you were or where you came from, she cared about the kind of person you were and would do what she had to to protect those she loved. Watching as she willingly fought against Bellatrix Lestrange because of how she came after Ginny? It was truly a moment that every Harry Potter fan remembers and so I think that we should start talking about Molly more.
Let’s give her the appreciation she deserves and remember the woman who was there for everyone and always stood her ground because, let’s be honest, we’d all love if Molly Weasley was our friend.
