Brendan Gleeson brought his musical talents to the Late Late Show
Did you know that Mad-Eye Moody had musical talents? Well, Brendan Gleeson took to the Irish show “The Late Late Show” where he sang a song with his son Fergus.
Thanks to Mugglenet, we discovered the Mad-Eye Moody star Brendan Gleeson singing a song with his son, Fergus Gleeson, on The Late Late Show. The two brought their own anthem to the show for those stuck inside. Titled “A Pint of Plain is Your Only Man”, the song is upbeat and cheerful despite having lyrics about debt and being alone. Still, it is a fun tune to listen to.
Which right now, that’s what we need right? Just a fun song to sit and sing to so we can try to take our minds off of everything?
Gleeson went on, in the interview, to talk about those on the front lines and their work that they’re doing right now to save lives.
"In terms of people who are out [on] the frontline, it’s just a wonderful thing to see all of that prioritised. We always know that health is better than wealth and all that, and we say that to ourselves. But for health to be front and centre and for people’s morale and for kindness to be front and centre in the nation, that’s what makes me proud of the place and want to come home."
Maybe it’s just a bit of fun but it is also great to see a different side to Brendan Gleeson. So many fans of the Harry Potter series only know him as Mad-Eye Moody and seeing him in a new and different way is incredible!
