Domhnall Gleeson stars in HBO’s new series Run and boy is it fun
Bill Weasley himself, Domhnall Gleeson, has had quite the career and now the Harry Potter star is taking on a new HBO show that has captured our hearts and run away with them.
Sometimes, we just like to watch other projects with the cast of the Harry Potter series in them and now Domhnall Gleeson has a new show on HBO that is an incredible look into a new side of the actor. Playing Billy Johnston, Gleeson stars as the friend of Ruby.
The two who went to college together have a game where when one texts “run”, the other runs to join them at this train they used to take to go to Chicago. The problem is that they haven’t seen each other in fifteen years and are keeping secrets from one another for no reason other than that they just want to take a break from their lives.
It’s a problem though because Billy learns that Ruby has a family she has yet to tell him about. The entire show hasn’t come out yet, it just premiered recently but it’s still a beautiful pilot that shows the amazing talent that is Domhnall Gleeson and how his work is far more than just the Harry Potter series or Star Wars.
So far, Run is fun and interesting and it’s going to be a wild journey to figure out why these two friends keep meeting like this and what their relationship was or ends up being. It’s just nice to see Domhnall Gleeson shine in his own show and can’t wait to see what comes next!
