Many Harry Potter fans know Fiona Shaw as Aunt Petunia but the brilliant actress is now on Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Killing Eve and is talking about working with the Fleabag star.

Our sister site Fansided talked with Fiona Shaw about the upcoming season of Killing Eve and it is incredible to see how much Fiona Shaw can transform herself into her characters. When she was Aunt Petunia, we watched with fear as she brought her to life and now, she’s working on Killing Eve and honestly, I’m a little bit jealous.

What struck me, personally, was Shaw talking about Phoebe Waller-Bridge and working with her on both Killing Eve and Fleabag.

"“Phoebe, you know — words fail me because she began writing Killing Eve at that moment she was burgeoning to being a master of her trade. And she is a master now. She knows not only what works, but why it works. I wish I’d seen her work in the pubs in the previous five years, but she obviously kept failing, succeeding, failing, succeeding and she’s honed herself so that if she has great confidence now it’s because she understands how hard it is to be that good and she works at it.I think we met her at that moment that she was flowering before her utterly brilliant Fleabag 2, which I was also in and loved being in.”"

Her work on both shows is incredible and she’s also an established Shakespearean actress to the point where she’s almost unmatched. Shaw continues to have an amazing career and it is beautiful to see as fans of Harry Potter.
