According to Jeff Lowe, Netflix is filming one more episode of Tiger King, which will arrive on the streaming platform next week.
If you’ve been on the internet in the past couple of weeks, you’ve likely heard of a docu-series called Tiger King. The Netflix series has taken off since its debut on March 20, following big cat owner Joe Exotic through some seriously questionable antics — and ending with him receiving jailtime for his treatment of the animals he’s worked with, as well as for his plot against animal-rights activist Carole Baskin.
And those wishing for a bit more of the docu-series are in luck, as Jeff Lowe, who makes several appearances in Tiger King, has confirmed that one more episode will be added to Netflix next week. It’s unusual for the streaming platform to add on an episode after the fact, and it’s unclear exactly what the extra content will consist of. But hey, we won’t say no to something new to watch, especially as we stay indoors and wait out the current health crisis.
Lowe made the announcement this weekend in a video message to Dodgers player Justin Turner and his wife Kourtney after the two shared their love for the docu-series. Lowe thanked them for “wasting” seven hours watching, then dropped the big news.

“Netflix is adding one more episode,” Lowe said. “It will be on next week. They’re filming here tomorrow. Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on.”
If Lowe’s telling the truth, that means fans have something to look forward to. Netflix has yet to confirm the news, so nothing’s official just yet. But you can bet Tiger King fans will be eagerly awaiting an announcement, especially since most of us has nothing else to do.
