Spend your quarantine at home with Harry Potter thanks to J.K. Rowling
So many kids are now stuck in their homes but J.K. Rowling is making sure they have something to do and why wouldn’t you want to read the Harry Potter series with them?
Ever want to revisit the Harry Potter series with your kids in a fun new way? Well, now you can thanks to J.K. Rowling! With a fun new online platform, kids can do interactive games and explore the world of magic like they never have before.
According to Deadline, J.K. Rowling started the site that will feature releases from Scholastic and Bloomsbury to help keep kids and parents entertained while we’re all stuck inside. And what better way to entertain than with Harry Potter and his friends?
Rowling too to sharing the news on Twitter, saying: “Parents, teachers and carers working to keep children amused and interested while we’re on lockdown might need a bit of magic, so I’m delighted to launch harrypotterathome.com.”
Quizzes, house pride, and plenty to keep you and your young ones engaged, the site is filled with options. To be honest, it’s just a fun way of spending some time that breaks up the television watching breaks and homework that kids have to do inside.
And if this is someone’s first foray into the Harry Potter series, why not have a bit of fun with the crafts and quizzes available there? You can spend time together, go back to Hogwarts, and get to do something different than what we’ve been doing stuck inside for the last month. This is pretty much a win-win situation.
