Why wasn’t Remus Lupin just in love with Sirius Black though?
We all know that Sirius Black and Remus Lupin were in love with each other, right? So why were they not together in the Harry Potter series? What a missed opportunity.
Being a fan of the Harry Potter series means that you probably loved a couple that didn’t end up together which is exactly how Sirius Black and Remus Lupin fans feel. So much of the series was many of us writing fanfiction for our favorite couples, hoping that they end up together, and, for many of us, being disappointed when they did not end up together by the end.
One of the biggest letdowns came in the form of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. Easily one of the biggest ships of the Harry Potter series and in general, Wolfstar remains one of the best fandoms around because so many of us wanted to see these two together. Instead, Remus Lupin ended up marrying Tonks and then dying at her side.
But that’s neither here nor there. The problem is more that so many of us wanted some kind of reaction from Remus Lupin over the death of Sirius that we just never got. Who knows, maybe someday we’ll get that Marauders series we all keep screaming for and we’ll see more of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black’s relationship with each other but right now, we can only go off the bit we’ve gotten and yeah, we get to be mad they didn’t end up in love with each other.
It would have been a beautiful addition to the series and maybe we can see that in a series about them when they were younger.
