Leslie Knope used to love talking about Harry Potter and honestly, same
On Parks and Recreation, Leslie Knope used to often make jokes back to the Harry Potter series and honestly, that was a mood because we all do the same things, right?
When it comes to the Harry Potter series, many of us love talking about it. Whether it’s just to our friends or family or all over the internet, we love to talk about the characters who meant the world to us and how we miss them. So…is it a surprise that Parks and Recreation‘s Leslie Knope also loved the series and liked to talk about it?
When you’re watching the show, it becomes clear that Leslie loves the books when she’s sick and talking about going to the Chamber of Commerce and calls it the “Chamber of Secrets” but it’s just little things like that that makes it clear that Leslie Knope, much like the rest of us, loved reading about Harry Potter and his friends and wanted to bring it up.
It makes sense seeing as she’s a Gryffindor. And as a Gryffindor myself, I can say that we love to relate back to the series and talk about it at any given moment, much like Leslie Knope did in Parks and Recreation. To be fair, it’s just fun to see characters love something that we all love too.
So sure, Amy Poehler (who brought Leslie Knope to life) might not care about the Harry Potter series but we will always have Leslie Knope talking about the Chamber of Secrets and talking about what the books meant to her as a fan.
