Peter Pettigrew is always going to be the worse no matter what

When it comes to terrible characters in the Harry Potter series, Peter Pettigrew is honestly one of the top people on the list for the things that he did to everyone.

Peter Pettigrew is the worst. Worse than Umbridge and worse than Voldemort. Let me explain. Voldemort made it clear what he was willing to do to get what he believed. He was racist and terrible and everyone knew that from just hearing his words. Umbridge was evil and made no problems showing that to the world.

Peter Pettigrew pretended to care about his friends, was there for them, and then betrayed them to follow with Voldemort and then brought him back to life for his own selfish benefit. To me, that is almost worse than both of them combined. Pettigrew looked at James and Lily Potter and sold them out so that Voldemort could try and kill their son and he had no problem doing so while also selling out his friend Sirius Black.

He would throw everyone he knew under the bus and for what? To be on Voldemort’s good side? What did that get him? In the end, it got him murdered but the point is that Peter Pettigrew didn’t care who he hurt, he had no loyalty other than that which he shared with Voldemort and that’s almost scarier than Voldemort himself. At least Voldemort looked out for some of his followers (mainly those like Peter Pettigrew but still) he never pretended to be something he wasn’t.

Peter Pettigrew? He’d pretend away if it was what the Dark Lord wanted and that’s terrifying.
