Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is one of the best movies in the series
When talking about the best movie in the series, there isn’t really a competition because it is easily Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. No questions asked.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is easily the best in the franchise and before you fight, let’s get into it. First of all, it features both Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. It’s one of the first times that Harry actually gets to know people who knew his parents and, finally, it’s when Harry starts to take a stand against the Dursleys for himself.
So much of Prisoner of Azkaban informs other aspects of the series and getting to see how it all starts is incredible. Even better is that it is probably one of the few movies that takes liberties from the book that doesn’t really detract from the overall story.
From the shrunken talking head on the Knight bus and more, it’s just a fun movie. And that makes sense since that’s one of the best books out of the series too. There is just something about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban that stays with fans. Maybe it’s because so many of us love that Harry stood up against his aunt and uncle or maybe it’s because of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black.
Whatever the case is, we love Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and it is easily one of the better books in the entire series and is such a fun movie to see on screen. Harry taking the Knight bus? Can we all take the Knight bus together? Please?
