Kreacher is kind of a quarantine mood when you really think about it.
Trapped in a house, stuck all alone with no one to talk to, and hating most people? That’s Kreacher but also everyone currently in quarantine. He was an icon after all.
Let’s talk about Kreacher. A house elf who spent years at Number 13 Grimmauld Place all alone, he probably knew better than any of us what it was like to be trapped in your house all alone. So, right now, as we’re all locked away because of the quarantine, we get to live our best Kreacher lives.
Right now, we’re all probably living our pajama life. Or some people keep putting clothes on and fine, that’s your choice. I don’t get it but everyone has to do their own thing right now I guess. What’s funny about thinking like this is just that we can relate our current predicament as people to the Harry Potter series because it’s just a fun way to pass the time.
Kreacher was a tragic character and isn’t anything like us being stuck at home right now because of the Coronavirus but the more we’re trapped in our home, the more we’re probably going to hate people and talking to anyone other than those we choose to.
Is this an appreciation post for Kreacher? Maybe because look, he kind of rules. He just takes care of Grimmauld Place all by himself, tries to help even though he hates everyone and then goes back to not liking anyone. It’s a mood I respect and one that I really feel in my bones right now with everything going on.
